RS485 network is used where a device needs to send & receive serial data to multiple locations at long distance. This board converts PC’s RS232 Serial Port to RS485 interface so that the serial data can be communicated at long distance. This board provides reliable two wire RS485 link that can work up to 1.2 Km long twisted pair cable. The board is powered from PC serial port itself.
