If you are learning microcontrollers or want to develop embedded solution based on standard 8051 core, this board will help you quick start with the application by giving you access to everything required to run the microcontroller. Board supports In Circuit Serial Programming(ICSP) for Atmel's 89Sxx series microcontroller like 89S52 through 10 pin Box Header. Solder components just like you do on a general purpose PCB for your application. Just that basic microcontroller is already present which is ready to run after program is loaded into it.

Other microcontrollers like Atmel's AT89C51, AT89C52 & 40 pin 8051 variants are supported on board but if they do not contain ICSP capability they will be required to be programmed with an external programmer and inserted on board to run the program inside it.
